There has been a lot of talk about The Big Bang Theory just recent and the state the series is in as it approaches its eighth season, with some people suggesting that the season eight premiere date would have to get pushed back. This was all due to the long drawn out contract negotiations with the stars of the show, who have now signed their new contract and are ready to push on with the new season.
One of the stars involved in the contract row was actress Kaley Cuoco, who plays the role of Penny in The Big Bang Theory. Kaley has since signed a new $1m per episode contract to continue on The Big Bang Theory and the actress has admitted that, while she has no idea what to expect from the upcoming new season, she is still very excited to begin working on it.
Cuoco appears in Women's Health magazine, where she explains, "I have no idea what they are doing with Big Bang this season. We are going into season 8 which is amazing. If you told me that 8 years ago I would be like, 'Ha ha, OK'....I hope next season we engage wedding stuff, I would love that. If I had to guess Leonard is more of a planner than Penny, which is funny. I feel so lucky we are going to be on much longer."
Now that all the lead stars of The Big Bang Theory have signed new contracts, we can now look forward to them getting filming for the new season underway. The Big Bang Theory season eight is set to premiere on Monday, September 22 at 8/7c on CBS and we cannot wait to see what the new season has in store.
