When it was announced that The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco was dating professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting, a lot of people assumed that it was just a rebound relationship, following Kaley's split from Man of Steel star Henry Cavill. It was then announced that Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting had decided to marry after being together for just three months.
A lot of people felt that they couple were rushing things way too fast but Kaley Cuoco has now opened up about the romance, insisting that she knew she wanted to marry Ryan Sweeting after just their second date. Since tying the knot, Kaley Cuoco has changed her name to Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and the actress has revealed why she chose to make the change.
While appearing on CBS This Morning, Cuoco explained, "I'm so happy. I felt like it was a respectful thing to do", before adding, "We both knew. I've been in previous relationships with great people and I just never saw, though, that end and that marriage. I knew it wasn't the right thing. Ryan and I met and it was completely hearts in our eyes and I get emotional talking about it because he's the most wonderful person in the world. We couldn't be happier."
As for her acting career, fans can continue to see Kaley Cuoco, or should we say Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, in her very familiar role as Penny, in the hit CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory, which is now in its seventh season and continues to air on CBS on Thursday evenings at 8pm ET/PT.
