Polish born Italian star Kasia Smutniak recently disclosed in an interview that her most difficult project ever was playing the part of 'Elena' in the movie "Fasten Your Seat Belts". The movie was a love story and in it her character had to deal with cancer as part of the story which took place over a 13 year period. She demonstrated incredible acting as many consider her to be a 'method' actress of exceptional ability as she initially had to gain 15 kg and then had to lose the weight over a very short period of time which impacts an individual both physically and mentally.
She disclosed that the role took a toll on her but it also demonstrated her commitment to a role and attracted the attention of filmmakers throughout Europe and the United States when word spread of her outstanding performance.
She is so beautiful that many view her as the next Monica Belluci, the Italian actress icon and similar to her she has attracted the attention of American film studios and filmmakers who have fallen in love with both her dramatic acting range and her physical beauty.
Interestingly, while she is shining in the movie theaters she is also starring on the small screen in the television series "In Treatment" which also represented one of the greatest acting challenges for her because the role is so different than the person she is. When the she watched the first episode the beautiful actress thought she would die of shame but her performance in the eyes of all was exceptional and this is why she is such a respected and desired actress.
Kasia Smutniak is not yet a household name outside of Europe but she soon may be if she decides to accept one of the many film offers she receives from filmmakers in North America such is her great talent and beauty.
