Anyone who's seen 2011's 'Thor' can agree that Kat Dennings as Darcy was one of the highlights of the film. She was funny and kooky, and a perfect comedic foil to straight-laced Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman. Well, it looks like we can expect more Darcy, as Dennings is confired to return for the sequel, Thor: The Dark World. What's even better is that her role is rumored to be expanded more than it was in the first movie. Granted, this may be expected because much of the first movie was spent on introducing Thor to us, but it seems as though the humans may be playing an important part in the sequel.
Dennings is currently starring on the CBS comedy 'Two Broke Girls', and she'll be joining confirmed cast members Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, and Stellan Skarsgard. In addition, there will be several new characters joining Earth and Asgard, as Zachary Levi and Christopher Eccleston are also confirmed for roles.

Thor: The Dark World is set to release on November 8, 2013, and is rumored to begin production later this year.
