33 year old Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has revealed how her 18 hour labour became somewhat of a comedy sketch. Kate claims that he mother, Goldie Hawn, was giving her some very unusual advice during the birth of her son Bingham in July 2011.
Hudson explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, “She puts on these reading glasses that have headlights on them. I have my doctor and my mom kind of looking over with these headlights. And she brings a magnolia flower. And she sort of starts to do these visualisations with me. And she’s going, ‘Imagine your va-jay-jay as a large magnolia flower blossoming.’”
Kate also admitted that she did not want her husband, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, to see everything that was going on down there during the birth. Hudson claims that she was trying to keep him away from the area and it all ended up much like a comedy movie.
She added, “I was like, ‘Stay back.’ I put up tarps, I was like, ‘Don’t go anywhere near the area.’ And I see him start to creep. I’m like, ‘No, no, get back!’… Meanwhile, my mom’s going to the doctor, ‘That’s not normal. It that normal?’ It really was a Woody Allen film.”
