Kate Hudson covers the May issue of Elle UK, and talks about her plans to marry fiance Matt Bellamy, as well as the way she's raising her children.
When discussing her fiance, she admits that although she does want to get married to him, it's more for her family than for the legality. She explains, "We will get married. I do think it’s important but we have no plans. [Son Ryder] wants a party. For me it’s not the legal part that is important, it’s what it means to the family.”
She also opens up about her kids and the way she's raising them, explaining, "I’m a lot less a rock chick and a lot more about being a good mother, a good partner. I’m part of a family. That’s how we were brought up, how I bring my kids up. They are very blessed to live how they do but they are aware of that.”
Hudson's film career seems to have stalled over the past few years, and her last high profile film role seems to have been in 2009, with 'Nine'. Her last couple of films have bombed at the box office, and have been critical failures, so she seems to be focusing more of her energy on indies and her family. You can catch Hudson in 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist', which releases on May 10th in the UK.
