With the amount of comic book movies that are being released on a yearly basis, it was only going to be a matter of time before someone decided to do a reboot of The Fantastic Four. It took some time in finally becoming a reality but The Fantastic Four reboot is now being made by Chronicle director Josh Trank and he has his leading cast members ready to go.

Kate Mara will play Sue Storm
Actress Kate Mara has been cast in the role of Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman for The Fantastic Four reboot and she has been talking a little about the project. Kate has admitted that she is not all that familiar with the comics but says that she has confidence that Josh Trank will make a grounded superhero movie.
Mara told IGN, "Well I don't know very much about it, which is weird but true! Umm, all I know is that it's going to be a very different take on the film, which people may not expect. I'm not really familiar with the comic books. I picked up a few when I got the part. I think we're making a very grounded version of a superhero film. I trust Josh Trank's vision as I was a huge fan of Chronicle."

Josh Trank will direct the movie
As well as tarring Kate Mara as Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman, The Fantastic Four reboot will also star Miles Teller as Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch, and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm aka The Thing, with Toby Kebbell playing Victor von Doom aka Doctor Doom. The Fantastic Four reboot will open on June 18 in the UK and June 19 in the US.
