And Kate and William could be sharing some baby news of their own before long! While the happy couple continue to keep us guessing about their baby plans, Kate was jubilant to hear news that her long-time friend, confidante and protection officer Emma Probert has fallen pregnant.
Emma has been at Kate's side during all official engagements and has reportedly even accompanied her through St James’s Park on her morning runs. Emma’s partner Colin is also a member of the royal security team, and the group are reported to have grown close.
When Emma goes on maternity leave, her absence is sure to leave a huge hole in Kate's life, both personally and professionally. The news may be particularly hard for Kate, especially as it comes at the same time as her sister Pippa Middleton plans to set up home in New York.
Let’s hope it won’t be long until Prince William and the Dutchess of Cambridge get to experience the same baby joy as Emma, and give Pippa a good excuse to spend lots of quality time over this side of the Atlantic!
