It is claimed that there is strong evidence to back the claims, as it is reported that mothers to be who suffer from the condition tend to be three times more likely to have a multiple birth than those who do not. Meanwhile, doctors have claimed that, while her heavy sickness may be difficult, it is a sign of a healthy pregnancy.
Dr Ashley Roman, a professor at the New York University Langone Medical Center said, “It's traditionally thought that nausea and vomiting is a sign of a healthy pregnancy.” While Dr Nancy Cossler at University Hospitals in Ohio said, “The biggest problem with this is how it interferes with your life. Constantly feeling sick and puking is difficult.”
