It has been stated that the recent revelation of Kate Middleton topless pictures in the press has come down to pure greed. Kate believed that she was in a secure and private place when she went topless, unaware that there was a photographer over a mile away spying on her and taking her picture.
The pictures have since been printed by the Irish Daily Star, which lead to a spokeswoman for St James’s Palace stating, “There can be no motivation for this action other than greed.” Meanwhile, Richard Desmond seemed to completely agree with the comments, claiming that he would be looking to have the paper shut down.

Desmond stated, “We abhor the decision of the Irish Daily Star to publish these intrusive pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, which we, like St James's Palace, believe to be a grotesque invasion of their privacy.”
However, Irish Daily Star editor Mike O' Kane defended his actions saying, “The Duchess would be no different to any other celeb pics we would get in, for example Rihanna or Lady Gaga. She's not the future Queen of Ireland so really the only place this is causing fury seems to be in the UK, and they are very, very tasteful pictures.”
Do you believe that the release of the topless Kate Middleton pictures are right?
