Kate Upton has become one of the biggest supermodels on the face of the Earth and a lot of it was down to her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover earlier in the year. Kate has now opened up about being on the cover, which was her second year in a row, saying that she actually felt terrible after it was released.
Upton told the September edition of Elle, "I felt terrible about myself for a solid month. Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something. I'm not a toy; I'm a human. I'm not here to be used. I am a grown woman, and you need to figure your s--t out."
Kate also spoke about the misconception of models being dumb, "People deal with models like they are children. They think they can pull one over on you. It's actually funny. I'm always like I'm about to pull something on you, and you're so focused on thinking I'm dumb you're not even going to know," she added.
While Kate Upton is considered by many to be the top model in the world, she has also tried her hand at acting, already appearing in the films Tower Heist and The Three Stooges. Next up for Kate is the movie The Other Woman, which stars Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann and opens in April 2014.
