Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins has enjoyed a long and successful career in the music industry, performing on some of the biggest stages in some of the biggest venues all over the world. Katherine is one of those singers who understands just how important her fans are and knows that she would not be where she is today if it was not for her fans.
It is for that reason that Katherine Jenkins has decided to give back to her fans when she performs at the annual hospice concert in Lancashire later in the year. Katherine has admitted that she wants to make the event a big family occasions, which is why she has decided to waive the admission fee for children aged 16 and under for the gig.
Jenkins explained, "I’m really looking forward to my summer concert in Lancashire There’s not a more perfect way to spend a summer’s evening than outside with family, friends and music. I wanted to make the evening as accessible as possible to all and a real family occasion – hence the decision to waive the admission fee for youngsters."
Katherine Jenkins will headline the Lostock Hall hospice’s annual Symphony at the Tower concert on July 5 and event organisers have agreed to let her waive the admission fees for youngsters, as they feel it is a great way bring classical music to a new audience. While Katherine Jenkins will headline the event on Saturday, July 5, singer James Blunt will be the headline act on Friday, July 4.
