Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow is said to be making a film which will include the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Bigelow, who won ‘Best Picture’ and ‘Best Director’ Academy Awards for her film ‘Hurt Locker’, will once again Mark Boal who wrote the screenplay for the Oscar winning film.
Boal is said to be using his military and intelligence contacts to find the Navy Seals operatives that were in Pakistan to send Bin Laden to his death. His links come from his time as a war journalist in Iraq in 2004 where he spent time with the bomb squads. He put his project into motion last December along with Bigelow.
Bigelow will be directing her 1st feature film since picking up her Oscars for ‘The Hurt Locker.’ The untitled Thriller currently has no cast until the screenplay reaches its final draft. Production is all set to start sometime in the summer.
