Katie Cassidy is set to appear in the eagerly anticipated, DC television series Arrow, which is set to be shown on The CW in the US and Sky1 in the UK and Katie has admitted that she cannot wait for fans to see the show. However, Katie did admit that she hopes that the fans are pleased with the outcome of the show.

Cassidy told Collider, “I’m excited about everything! It’s fun to be a part of a show like this where anything can happen. It’s very action-packed, but yet, it’s set in a real world with real people. It’s very grounded. It’s dark and edgy. It’s cool. It looks like a movie. When I watch it, I’m shocked. I’m so fortunate to be a part of something like this. As far as the action goes, I’m just excited to get involved in that, at some point. I have no clue when, but hopefully soon.”
Katie also admitted that being involved in such a hugely anticipated show made it rather intimidating, “It certainly is intimidating, but I try not to focus on that. I try to keep myself in what I’m doing and focused on character stuff, as opposed to getting wrapped up in worrying or being nervous. It won’t benefit me, in any way, to focus on that. But, sure it is intimidating. I hope we do please the fans, as much as we possibly can,” she added.

Arrow will see Stephen Amell playing the lead role of Oliver Queen and he has recently revealed a few of the other DC characters that will be making an appearance in the show. Arrow premieres in the US on The CW tonight at 8/7c and is set to premiere in the UK on Sky1 at 8pm.
