When an actor or actress appears in the same role in a television series for a number of years, appearing in plenty of episodes along the way, it is always interesting to see where they will then take their career once the show comes to an end. That is exactly what is happening with 25 year old actress Katrina Bowden.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the work of Katrina Bowden, she played the role of Cerie in the hit television series 30 Rock, appearing in 100 episodes between 2006 and 2013. When 30 Rock then came to an end, all eyes looked to Katrina to see where she would go with her career from there.
It has now been reported that Katrina Bowden has landed the female lead role in the new TNT series Public Morals, a period cop drama which will hope to get picked up for a full season. Katrina will play a character who is described as "a seemingly sweet and innocent prostitute with street smart edge." Meanwhile, the male lead for Public Morals has been confirmed as Ed Burns.
Elsewhere in her career, Katrina Bowden also hasa couple of movies lined up for release in the coming year or so. Katrina will appear in The Last Film Festival with Dennis Hopper, as well as the film Hard Sell with Kristin Chenoweth. It looks like 2014 could be a very big year for Katrina Bowden.
