Singer Katy Perry has admitted that she is amazed that she has created music history. Katy equalled a record set by the late Michael Jackson, by achieving five number one singles from one album. This also makes Perry the first ever female to achieve the feat.
Katy explained, "Hitting number one is always a great moment, but when it turns into a small piece of history, you're reminded of how many millions of people are connected to each other by even one tiny event. Perry also admitted that she has had big dreams since she was a child.
She added, "Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Ever since I was 9 years old, singing into my hairbrush, I've dreamed very big dreams, but today is bigger than my dreams. What a nice first birthday present for Teenage Dream!"
