It has been reported that Katy Perry’s mother Mary Hudson is set to attempt to set Katy up on a date with the Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. Katy recently split from her husband Russell Brand and her mother seems keen to get Katy back on the horse, by setting her up with the American Football star when he attends a forthcoming church meeting.
An insider explained, “Katy has mentioned on more than one occasion how much she likes Tim. Katy’s mum firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He’s handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian.”
The reasons behind the split of Katy Perry and Russell Brand are still not clear, as many rumours have been circulating about why they are getting divorced. Katy Perry managed to bag herself five Awards at the recent People’s Choice Awards, including Best Music Artist, Favourite Tour Headliner, Favourite Song – for ET – and Favourite TV guest star, for her stint on How I Met Your Mother, but was unable to attend the event.
