Those of you who are into you social media and are regular users of the likes of Twitter and Instagram will be very familiar with the selfie, which is where someone simply takes a photo of themself. There are a lot of people who seem to be addicted to taking selfies, including a lot of celebrities, but there is at least on high-profile star who is clearly not a selfie fan.
Singer Katy Perry is one of the many stars who have been enjoying Coachella and she has been asked by a number of fans to get involved in some selfie action. While Katy initially refused to get involved with the selfies, she was soon convinced once the fan agreed to get in the shot with her. However, this has not stopped Katy from admitting that she is not a selfie fan.
Perry took to her official Twitter account to tell her followers, "Dear festival friends remember, selfing is a disease. 😳📷". As for how she intended to spend her time at the festival, Katy admitted that she did not really have any solid plans, "I'm just going with the flow. I don't have a schedule," explained Perry.
While Katy Perry is clearly not too keen on taking the selfies, she was more than happy to take a few minutes out of her day to stop for some photographs. Katy was in the teepee at Harper Bazaar's private Shop Bazaar pool party at The Parker Palm Springs on Friday where she posed for a number of pictures.
