There has been a lot of talk about a possible third instalment of the Bill & Ted franchise for quite some time now and it appears that things have edged a little closer to getting the green light. Both Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, who starred in both of the previous Bill & Ted movies, have confirmed that the script for Bill & Ted 3 has finally been completed.
Reeves explained, "Yeah, we have a script. We're trying to put it together. It's a good script too." Meanwhile, Keanu’s Bill & Ted co star Alex Winter took to his official Twitter account to also confirm that the script was finished and that they were looking to get the green light for Bill & Ted 3.
He tweeted, "Script done? Check. We love it? Check. Green light? Working on it!" It has previously been claimed that the central idea for the Bill & Ted 3 script is that they are aiming to fulfil their ultimate destiny of creating a song that will save the entire world. With a bit of luck Bill & Ted 3 can get the go ahead and get into production as early as next year, then we could have Bill & Ted 3 on our hands in 2014. Fingers crossed.
