When you have been in the movie making industry as long as James Franco has, you gain a lot of big name friends and develop a reputation which leads to people wanting to work with you. It is no surprise then that James Franco is putting together a fantastic cast for his upcoming movie The Sound and the Fury.
As well as directing The Sound and the Fury, James has also managed to convince a number of impressive names to sign up to star in the movie. Franco already has the likes of Seth Rogen, Jon Hamm, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny McBride, Loretta Devine and Janet Gretzky set to star in The Sound of Fury and now another star has joined the cast.
It has been confirmed that Keegan Allen, who is best known for playing the role of Toby Cavanaugh in the hit television series Pretty Little Liars, has joined the cast of The Sound and the Fury. Keegan has clearly made a good impression on James Franco, after working with him on the recent indie movie Bukowski, which Franco also directed.
The Sound and the Fury is based on the William Faulkner novel and takes "a look at the trials and tribulations of The Compson siblings, living in the deep south during the early part of the 20th century." Filming for the movie has recently started and it is expected that The Sound and the Fury will open sometime in 2015, although an official release date has yet been announced.
