Hollywood beauty Keira Knightley has been talking about what it is like to mix raising a family with her acting career, admitting that she did not want to take too much time away from the acting game, as she was worried that she might miss out on some exciting roles. It is for that reason then, that Keira is delighted to have the money to pay for the best childcare around.

Knightley was chatting to Harper's Bazaar, when she explained, "I think I’ve become unbelievably aware of that and how lucky I’ve been to be able to afford really good childcare, because otherwise it would be at least four years out of my career. I wouldn’t be able to get back to where I’d been if I’d taken four years out. I think that’s the same for most women. And I think that’s really hard.”
However, while Keira Knightley is clearly pleased about having the luxury of being able to afford the best possible childcare, she did admit that things need to change when it comes to paternity leave. Keira says that she does not feel like father's get enough time off work, suggesting that the paternity leave should be just as long as the maternity leave.

Knightley added, “I think paternity leave should be the same as maternity leave. It’s shocking. Because you need that option... You need to be a family unit, not just have the guy there for two weeks and then go back to work and the mother left desperately trying to figure it out."
As far as her acting career is concerned, Keira Knightley will next appear on the big screen in the new movie Collateral Beauty, which is set to open in the US on December 16, before then opening in the UK on December 26.
