We have all been there, where we get in the shower and decide to have a bit of a sing-song and begin to think just how amazing we actually sound, with a singing voice to rival that of anyone in the world, before realising that it is really just one big fantasy and we sound as bad as Frankie Cocozza. Well it is not just the general public who do this, as there are also Hollywood stars doing the same thing.
British actress Keira Knightley stars in the new movie Begin Again, where she plays the role of an aspiring singer, and the actress has admitted that the singing part was not exactly easy. Keira has praised Rolling in the Deep singer Adele, admitting that she wishes she had a singing voice as good as hers.
Knightley was a guest on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, when she explained, "I had actually done it on one other movie but in a very different style, but no, I've never sung like this. I was actually quite disappointed that I didn't sound like Adele."
Keira added, "You know when you're in the shower and you're just singing and you think, 'Wow, I sound really good right now. I sound so good I could totally do that Adele thing'. And then you get into a recording studio, as I did, and you think, 'Oh, no, I can't do the Adele thing'."
As well as starring Keira Knightley, the cast of Begin Again also includes the likes of Hailee Steinfeld, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener, Adam Levine, and James Corden. Begin Again has been written and directed by John Carney and will open on June 27 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on July 11.
