Kelly Osbourne covers the latest issue of Self Magazine, and opens up about her weight loss and the mysterious seizure she suffered last month.
When talking about the seizures, she says, "It came as a complete surprise to me and to my doctors. After five days in the hospital and getting tests, they still didn't know the reason beyond 'sometimes these things happen.'"
She adds that the incident has made her even more determined to stay healthy, not just skinny. Although Kelly has made a drastic change to her lifestyle to maintain her new body, she adds that she still had a hard time keeping up with the pressure sometimes. She then says, "I don't compare myself to anybody else. It's OK to have a healthy envy and look up to somebody and set goals, but you have to realize that you're never going to be exactly that person. Wishing you were Angelina Jolie or J.Lo isn't going to change the fact that you're not. Why not start working with what you do have instead of what you don't?"
It seems like she's happy with her body and has achieved a level of self-confidence that is rare in a celebrity. Hopefully more and more celebrities will start to feel the same way, and think about their health rather than how many pounds they can lose.
