Actress Kelly Reilly has earned the applause of many throughout her career for her performances on the stage, in television and in the movies but her performance as Dr. Catherine Black in the television series "Black Box" is earning her much praise from fans, television critics and entertainment insiders for how she is handling a very challenging subject. Her character, a doctor is dealing with bipolar disorder, a chemical imbalance and one of the last 'taboos' on television in terms of how it is addressed

In a recent interview she discussed how her character, a neurologist is better able to fix her patients than herself and the challenge it creates for her character. During her conversation she reveals a depth of knowledge about the illness that is quite impressive and explains how she is so able to portray her character in such a manner that one forgets that she is acting a role and does not actually possess the illness.
Fans of the show, especially those who have a bipolar disorder or know someone with it are likely very pleased with how Kelly Reilly plays the character.

Entertainment critics and insiders are incredibly impressed with how she has unpeeled her character's personality and show the different dimensions such as the joy from finding the right combination of medicine to keep her 'balanced' to the reality of her experiencing a sexual manic experience.
She shows the pain, the successes and the range of emotions that a person dealing with bipolar disorder will experience while working in a elite position as a doctor and trying to manage her personal life and in the process has produced one of the more memorable acting performances of 2014 in the view of some entertainment critics.
Kelly Reilly shines in her performance on the "Black Box" and as a result now has entertainment insiders and fans eagerly awaiting her next project which will be in the comedy "Calvary".
