Well, well, well. If it isn’t Kelly Rowland pulling a Paula Abdul. What is it about American women and crying all the time? I was highly aggravated by Paula Abdul when she acted like a baby and refused to pick between her two acts on The X Factor USA but at least she did give a name in the end. Now, Kelly Rowland has made the UK version look just as bad.
Kelly had to choose between her two acts, Janet Devlin and Misha B, with Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos both saying that they were sending home Janet. However, when it came to Kelly’s turn, she had a complete Paula Abdul style breakdown and refused to choose. It was obvious that Gary Barlow was going to send home Janet, so it didn’t really matter what Kelly said, but that is not the point.
Rules are point in place for a reason and by refusing to choose, she is breaking the rules. As I previously said, Frankie Cocozza was booted off for breaking the rules, so why should it be any different for Kelly Rowland. The X Factor UK has been quite a farce this year and they are certainly going to have to buck their ideas up next season. The singing has been average, the judges have been useless and the only redeeming factor has been Dermot O’Leary.
Praise the lord for Dermot O’Leary. Arriba!!
