Hollywood actress Kerry Washington has been talking about her upcoming movie Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, which was formerly titled We the Peeples. As well as the movie changing its title, there has also been a first look image of Kerry Washington in the movie released.

Tyler Perry Presents Peeples centres around Grace Peeples (Washington) who has been dating her boyfriend Wade (Craig Robinson) for a year and a half but has still not introduced him to her parents. Grace tells Wade that he cannot accompany her to a family reunion, but he ignores her and crashes it anyway.
Kerry was talking to EW, when she explained, "Grace hasn’t told her family a lot about [Wade] at all. She loves Wade very, very much and fears that he won’t accept them and they won’t accept him, and it makes her want to avoid the immersion. If she can just hold it off longer, maybe she’ll figure out how to do it perfectly. Or maybe Wade will suddenly become more successful."

As well as starring Kerry Washington and Craig Robinson, Tyler Perry Presents Peeples also stars Malcolm Barrettt, Tyler James Williams and David Alan Grier. Tyler Perry Presents Peeples is set to be released on May 10 in the US.
