We have still got quite a few months to wait until we get to see the third instalment of the Iron Man franchise but from what we have already heard, it sounds like it is going to be great. Now, Marvel Studio present Kevin Feige has praised Ben Kingsley for his portrayal of the villain Mandarin in Iron Man 3.
Feige explained, “On his last take of his first full day as the Mandarin, when they yelled ‘Cut!’ the entire crew burst into applause, spearheaded by Mr. Downey himself. It was pretty amazing to see that.”
He added, “That’s what you get when you hire Sir Ben Kingsley. He’s so excited about his part and so into this character, and frankly just scaring the heck out of everybody. They’re like, ‘You’ve broken us out of our sceptical malaise!’”
Iron Man 3 will see Robert Downey Jr. donning the suit for a fourth time and will also see the return of Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes aka War Machine and Paul Bettany as the voice of Jarvis. Iron Man 3 is set to be released in the UK on April 25, 2013 and in the US on May 3, 2013.
