The cast for the DreamWorks movie Need for Speed, which is a big screen adaptation of the hit video game, is really coming together, having already cast some impressive names, with the likes of Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots. Now, it has been confirmed that Kid Cudi will be joining the cast for the movie, which will be released next year.

The synopsis for Need for Speed is as follows:
Need for Speed centres around a guy who spends his time doing up cars for a living. However he is framed for the auto-race accident that took his best friend's life and ends up behind bars. Fresh from a stint in prison, he sets off on a revenge mission, to discover who really did kill his pal.
Aaron Paul is set to lead the Need for Speed cast
As well as Kid Cudi, Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots, Need for Speed will also star Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek and Harrison Gilbertson. Need for Speed is written by John Gatins and Paul Gatins and is set to be directed by Scott Waugh. The movie is due to be released on February 7, 2014 in the US but has yet to be given an official release date in the US.
