Kid Cudi proud of ‘Perfect World’

Kid Cudi has revealed that he is extremely proud of his latest single ‘Perfect World’ claiming that the song shows how much he has developed as an artist. ‘Perfect World’ was produced by Dot Da Genius and Kid Cudi admits that it shows his progression in life both musically and personally.

Kid Cudi said, "I'm very proud of it; it's something that a year ago I wouldn't have ever imagined that I'd be able to do. It's different, I get that. Some people are going to get it, some people aren't. That's cool. I just don't really give a f**k who does and who doesn't. I mean, I care about the people that do, because that means, alright cool, there some people who have an open mind, who are smart and who get art."

The ‘Marijuana’ singer continued, adding "The world that I am coming from, hip-hop, is so regurgitated and repetitive that some people are used to that and they don't want change, they don't like change," he said."And I get that, that's cool. Luckily for me, I'm confident in myself as an artist where I can do what I want, and as long as I'm cool with it, I'm cool with it."
