Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé seemed to be getting friendly whilst supporting their men from the side of the stage at the Watch The Throne tour earlier this month, but it seems their body language at the BET Awards told a very different story.
Once again, the ladies put their own merits aside to accompany Jay-Z and Kanye West at The Shine Auditorium festivities held against the backdrop of Tinseltown city Los Angeles, California. The foursome were seated on the front row together, with the boys taking the middle two seats and chatting and laughing together.
Beyonce and Kim were placed on the outer seats and made no effort to stretch across to talk to one another, and at times both seemed somewhat bored.
Reality TV queen Kim looked rather unimpressed that she was perched on the end and ended up befriending another famous lady for her Kodak moment - Nicki Minaj. The 31-year-old, who stepped out in an unzipped backless cream dress, appeared so out of her depth that she ended up tweeting from the event about Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Kim and Kanye also chose not to walk the red carpet prior to the ceremony. Perhaps Beyoncé, who looked ravishing in a thigh-slashed lime green satin gown, intentionally avoided being overly friendly with Kim after her fans reportedly were 'outraged' by recent pics of the two together.

Another insider told the New York Daily News that Kim is being strategic in gaining Beyoncé's trust: 'She’s hung with them a few times already, but she isn’t saying peep about them. She’s not tweeting or taking pictures with Beyoncé because she doesn’t want to seem desperate.'
Either way, both couples will no doubt be celebrating by raising a glass of bubbly later as the men were crowned with the prestigious honour of Best Group. While Beyoncé and Jay-Z married in 2008, Kim has only been dating the Gold Digger star since April.
