Reality TV Queen Kim Kardashian may be ready for motherhood, but in the meantime, she has settled for a kitten.
Her latest companion is a Persian feline, which she has named "Mercy." Coincidentally, her boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, has a hit single track by the same name.
"My new baby Mercy! #Teacup Persian," she tweeted along with a photo including four snapshots of the adorable kitten.
The reality star has been dating Kanye for around six months now, though the two have known each other for about 10 years. Earlier this year, Kim told talk show host Barbara Walters on "The View" that she definitely wants babies of her own.
"At the space that I am in life now, kids are definitely something I want. I think I wanted that before. I think I fell in love so quickly and wanted that to be my life so badly but I just didn't take the time to find someone." Kim, 31, added, "Anything I'd be in now would be a permanent relationship."
Kim is reportedly keen to get her divorce to Kris Humphries finalised as soon as possible, so that she can marry her new beau.
"Kim feels that Kanye is the man she is going to spend the rest of her life with, and she doesn't want to wait. Kim's deposition will likely take place in the next few weeks, but she feels nothing is going to be gained by it," a source told Radar Online.
