Kim Kardashian has announced that her designer clothes are up for auction - but will you be buying them? The reality star has announced that pieces of her wardrobe, which consists of almost all designer wear such as Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, and Dolce & Gabbana, is for sale on eBay. These items include everything from dresses to shoes to sweaters and shirts.
“The clothes I got rid of will be up on EBay,” Kardashian tweeted, “… for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church.”
However, she neglected to say that only 10% of the proceeds would go to her chosen church, and the rest will probably end up on her already overflowing private coiffers. Would you be willing to buy her clothes knowing most of it will just go back to her? She can very easily end up making upwards of a $1000 for each item, especially considering that it's probably what each item is actually worth, and she would only be giving small percentage of that away. She can easily afford to give away more, with minimal impact on her wardrobe, but she's choosing not to. Could this be an influence from her boyfriend, Kayne West?
