It has been reported that David Beckham and his family have decided to sell their 17 acre estate, which they bought back in 1999. The property is said to be valued at around £18m and it seems to have drummed up some interest from a certain Kim Kardashian.
The mansion, which boasts a helipad, petting zoo, swimming pools and a recording studio, will serve Kim Kardashian as a European retreat for her and her family, including sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner. It is also believed that she will rent the house out to fans of the Beckham’s while she is not in the UK.
As well as selling their house in the UK, it has also been claimed that the Beckham’s are looking to sell their £2.5m French villa. An insider told the Daily Mirror, “David and Victoria have been wanting to sell up for a couple of years now but the timing was never right. They didn't want to lose money, putting their homes up for sale during a slump in the property market.”
They added, “So, after getting it valued two years ago, decided to hold off until now. They don't need the money, as such, but no longer use either place and realise in this current climate it's crazy to effectively throw cash away. The Beckham’s have made Los Angeles their home, and the kids are settled there.”
