Since the hit television series Veronica Mars ended, there have been a number of rumours going around about a Veronica Mars movie being made. Those rumours have now become a reality, thanks to the Kickstarter website, which needed to raise $2m in order for the film to be made.

Kristen Bell is overwhelmed
Instantly there was no doubting that the $2m mark would be hit, and the Veronica Mars movie would be made, as it romped to $1m quicker than anybody ever on the website. Since then, the Veronica Mars fund has made almost $2.5m, that's almost half a million more than was needed. Now, Kristen Bell has thanked fans of the show for making the movie a reality.
Bell took to her official Twitter account to thank her followers for making the movie possible, "I love you guys. You are all SO spectacular. I am speechless," she tweeted. While there was a lot of talk about the Veronica Mars movie, there was also big news, with a new pope being elected.
