As the evil Queen Ravenna, Charlize Theron envies her young rival's beauty in new movie Snow White and the Hunstman, but the beautiful actress had no need to feel jealous of Kristen Stewart as the pair walked the red carpet at the highly-anticipated film's world premiere.

The actresses both chose smouldering gothic glamour looks in sheer black gowns as London's Leicester Square was transformed into a fairytale enchanted forest for the event. Kristen, 22, wore a black lace gown from Marchesa's Fall 2012 collection with her hair swept up in a bun. In trademark fashion, Kristen arrived at the event in her favourite pair of Converse, before quickly switching into heels behind a bush before facing the fans and cameras.
Charlize, 36, looked gorgeous in her Christian Dior Couture creation. The sheer tulle design also put the stunning star's legs on display as she worked the red carpet.

Kristen and Charlize greeted each other with a big hug, and later posed for pictures with Chris Hemsworth, who plays The Hunstman in the big budget film. Avenges star Chris became a father this week when his wife Elsa Pataky gave birth to their baby girl, India, on Friday.
The actor looked surprisingly well rested despite juggling caring for his wife and newborn daughter, who was born in a London hospital, and promotional duties for the film this week.
