So Kristen Stewart will finally come out of hiding at the Toronto International Film Festival, for the premiere of her new movie 'On the Road'. How did she finally make the decision to show herself to the public? She has been lying low at her parents house since the pictures of her cheating on Robert Pattinson were released on July 24th, after which she immediately released a very public statement apologizing to Rob and declaring how sorry she was. It seems she has decided that sooner is better, instead of waiting the last minute until the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 press tour.

'On the Road' is the adaption of the much buzzed about Jack Kerouac's novel - in addition to Stewart, the cast includes Viggo Mortenson, Garrett Hedlund, Tom Sturridge, Kirsten Dunst, and Amy Adams. Stewart plays Marylou, the 16 year old wife of Dean Moriarty. Interestingly enough, when Tom Sturridge was asked the other day what it was like working with 'his good friend', Kristen Stewart, he sidestepped the question entirely and just said 'it was great working with such a wonderful group of people'.
However, no matter the personal opinions of Stewart's co-stars, she is undoubtedly proud of the film, which got middling reviews out of Cannes but with strong notices for her performance. It's just a matter of whether she will even be able to walk the red carpet without reporters shouting questions about the cheating scandal to her? One could say that Robert Pattinson has managed fine in the last week, during the promotion of 'Cosmopolis', but Pattinson is also the subject of a lot of sympathy, while Stewart is still the target of a lot of vitriol and anger, especially from Twilight fans.
