When the Golden Globe nominations were announced last week, there was a prominent name missing from the Best Supporting Actress List. Although most people considered the major snubs to be cast of ‘The Master’ and ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild’, there was some buzz picking up for Kristen Stewart in ‘On the Road’.

Now, there are reports that Kristen feels snubbed by the Golden Globes. Despite getting rave reviews for her performance as free spirited Mary Lou in a role that’s very different to Stewart herself, she was passed over in favor of Anne Hathaway, Helen Hunt, Sally Field, Amy Adams, and Nicole Kidman.
An insider close to Stewart said [via Galtime], “Kristen, like any actor or actress, wants their work respected and rewarded. Not being honored with a nomination has just lit a fire under her to be work even harder in the future.''

However, Stewart is reportedly keeping her hopes up that even though she missed on the Golden Globes, other awards shows won’t overlook her performance – the insider added, “All the [nominations] haven't been announced for other awards shows, so she may have missed the Golden Globes, but that doesn't mean she has missed out on everything else.''
