Tony-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth has revealed how she had to re-evaluate her life, following the car crash that almost ended her career. Kristin admits that it was quite a shock, going from doing as much as she could in as little time as possible, with very little breaks in between.

Chenoweth explained, “It was a life-changing event. I went from 200 miles per hour to zero. I've had to re-evaluate my life, to be honest. For a while it was why me, why me, why me?” She is now fully focused on her career and is looking for ways to improve all the time.
Kristin added, “I have ideas, and a couple of them some people think are pretty decent. I just keep looking for ways to make myself a better artist. That's all I care about.” Chenoweth recalled how her neurosurgeon tried to tell her that she would be out of action for a while.

She continued, “He said, 'You won't be back to work for a couple of months.' I laughed at him. I've gone on with a broken leg, toes, the flu.”
Kristin Chenoweth was set to enjoy a rare break back in July when a piece of lighting equipment fell from 35ft, leaving her with a 5-inch skull fracture, a broken nose, three cracked teeth, torn neck muscles and several cracked ribs.
