When Kristin Kreuk burst onto our screens as the pretty Lana Lang, the love interest of Clark Kent in Smallville, we thought she was destined to be huge. However, it has not yet happened for Kristin in a big way and she has appeared in the odd TV show and a few mediocre movies.
Next up for Kristin Kreuk is Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy and Kristin has taken the time to talk a little bit about how she prepared for the role. She explained, “I think I prepared for this role pretty similar to how I prepare for any role, which is really looking at this person. Where they come from, what’s going on for them.”
Kruek added, “The drugs stuff, I have reference points and lots of friends, so I can check in and see what works and what doesn’t. Mostly it was figuring out her, what Heather’s like, what her struggle is. She’s sort of like, becoming a butterfly through this story.”
