When an actor or actress appears in a television series which fails to draw strong numbers and is ultimately cancelled, all eyes then turn to this star to see how their career recovers from such a setback. That is exactly what actress Krysten Ritter had to face, following the cancellation of her television series Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 after just two seasons.
While some stars have seen their careers plummet following such a disappointment, Krysten Ritter is still going strong, with plenty of movie work lined up for this year. In 2014 we will see Krysten appear in four movies, while she has also been linked to another possible role in the future.
Just last month, fans could see Krysten Ritter in the movie Listen Up Philip, which co-stars Elizabeth Moss and Jason Schwartzman and featured at the Sundance Film Festival. Next up, we will see Krysten reprise her role as Gia Goodman for the Veronica Mars movie, which opens on March 14.
After that, we will then see Krysten Ritter in the Tim Burton movie Big Eyes, which will again see her working with Jason Schwartzman, as well as Amy Adams. Then there is the movie Search Party, which also stars Alison Brie and Shannon Woodward and opens on September 12.
Meanwhile, Krysten Ritter has also been linked to a role in the planned movie Annie Jenkins: A Not Very Romantic Comedy, which is currently seeking financing. All in all, Krysten Ritter is proving that there is still life after a failed television series.
