Over the course of the past few years, Marvel have been dominating the comic book movie scene and it looks like they are now taking over on the TV series scene too. Marvel have teamed up with Netflix to bring us a number of new superhero shows and we were already impressed with what they did with the Daredevil series.

Well, the Jessica Jones series has now been released on Netflix and it has already had rave reviews from many comic book fans around the world. Despite the fact that Jessica Jones season one has only been available for a few days, talk has already turned to season two, with showrunner Melissa Rosenberg admitting that she hopes it comes before The Defenders season one.
Rosenberg told The Hollywood Reporter, "I hope so. There certainly is story-telling wise. The question becomes is there actual time? There are logistics involved, because Defenders has to shoot by a certain time, contractually. Actually, I'm not sure; I'm not at all involved in those conversations, much to my dismay."

She then went on to add, "The first question is whether or not we will even get a second season. The second question is, if so, when? Will it be before The Defenders or after? I'd certainly love it to be before but there are things that play into that — time, availability."
It is definitely an exciting time for Marvel fans, who have plenty of new superhero shows to look forward to. As well as having Daredevil season two, Jessica Jones season two, and The Defenders season one, we also have Luke Cage season one, and Iron Fist season one to look forward to. We cannot wait.
