It seems that Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Larry Foote believes that honesty is the best policy, as he gives a brutally honest assessment of his teams recent performances. Larry did not mince his words or hold back, as he told it like it is and pin pointed the Steelers biggest problem.

Larry claims that, while he believes the Pittsburgh Steelers do have the quality and the physical presence to compete, they are currently lacking in the mentality stakes. Following the disappointing 26-23 upset at the hands of the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, Foote made his feelings very clear.
He told 93.7 The Fan, via CBS Pittsburgh, “We're not strong mentally. We don't look like a championship team right now. Everybody's been knocked down, everybody's had doors shut in their face, everybody's gotten beat.”

While that does seem like a very valid point from Larry Foote, you still have to take into account the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers still have Troy Polamalu and LaMarr Woodley to come back from injuries, while linebacker James Harrison is still to get back to full fitness.
It will be interesting to see how the Pittsburgh Steelers respond to the comments by Larry Foote and whether there is enough time for them to turn their season around.
