American Idol runner up Lauren Alaina has revealed how being on the show and becoming a full time singer has changed her life. Lauren admits that she has had to grow up a lot and, while she does do school work on the road, she is no longer surrounded by kids.
Alaina explained, "I've had to grow up. I can't think of things as a little child now, I have to be mature and make good decisions. I have a great team around me that helps me with that but still, it wears off on you. I do school on my computer so I'm not around kids much and I'm surrounded by adults all the time. I have to make decisions like I'm an adult."
Lauren Alaina was beaten to the winners prize on American Idol by Scotty McCreedy but that has not stopped her from pursuing her dream. Last month Lauren released her debut album Wildflower and she has since been confirmed to switch on the Christmas lights at Graceland on November 18.
