American Idol Season 10 runner up Lauren Alaina, has revealed how she would love to one day make the transition from doing music into making movies. Lauren did admit that she does not believe that she is yet ready to make to switch but that she does hope to one day get in to acting in the future. And it seems that she fancies herself as a bit of a comedy actress.
Alaina explained, "I've always been interested in acting, since I was a little girl, and while at this point in my career I'm not really ready for it, at some point, I would love to get into acting. People are always telling me that on American Idol they didn't get to see how funny I can be, but in real life, I'm always cracking a joke or being really goofy, and I'm very rarely serious."
She then added, "The whole American Idol experience was surreal, but to actually have my career in line now and for people to be buying my own CD, it's mind-blowing. I can't believe it's happening to me." Lauren Alaina saw in the New Year by singing her single Georgia Peaches on Fox's American Country New Year's Eve Live.
