Laurie Holden played an integral role in Seasons 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead, before her brutal character assassination in Season 3. Holden's Andrea went from being a badass fighter to one of the stupidest members of the Walking Dead lexicon, through no fault of her own. Seriously, how many times was she hoodwinked by the Governor? The Andrea from Season 1 or 2 would never have betrayed her friends or given up a chance to back with them to the prison, not after everything they'd been through together.

Either way, despite the unclear character motivations, Holden truly gave the character her all and the outcome probably would have been much worse in the hands of a less capable actress. Regardless of your feelings on the character, her death during the Season 3 finale of the Walking Dead truly was tragic, and gave a lot of heft to an otherwise humdrum episode.
So where is Holden now? The Walking Dead's proved to really be a launchpad for several actors and actress, which isn't surprising considering it's the highest rated show on television.

According to her IMDB, Holden only has one role in post-production, but it's a high-profile role - she'll be playing the female lead in Dumb and Dumber To, The Farrelly Brothers' sequel to the original cult hit. She's also producing an indie movie titled Honeytrap, but doesn't have anything else in development.
