New boyband Lawson are about to release their debut album and have admitted that they would love to achieve the same success of fellow boyband One Direction. Lawson have become quite close to One Direction recently and the One Direction boys have been showing Lawson their support.
Lawson praised Niall Horan in particular, after the Irish star took the time to go and see them at V Festival, “They're lovely lads, Niall came to see us at V Festival, they're good lads. They're doing amazing in America, flying the flag for British music, it's great.”
Meanwhile, Lawson did admit that they were a little bit nervous about their new single and album being released, “Both, we're very excited though, this is our third one, but the competition is steep. But we’re going to go in there, we're contenders,” they added.
Lawson’s new single, which is their third track to be released, is titled Standing in the Dark and comes off of their new album Chapman Square, which is available to buy now. Do you think Lawson have what it takes to be as good and as successful as One Direction?
