British boyband Lawson have claimed that Country queen Taylor Swift is a self-confessed fan of theirs, who knows all the words to their hit Standing in the Dark. Lawson also went on to praise Taylor Swift, saying she is a very friendly young woman.

Andy explained, “Taylor Swift actually is a big fan of ours, she was singing along to Standing in the Dark at the Jingle Bell Ball. She didn’t flirt, she was just a nice genuine fan of the band.”
Adam added, “She was there with Harry Styles, came up to after and was like ‘I really love you guys, I’ve watched all your videos and love Standing in the Dark. She said ‘I hope you release that in the US because it’s really great’.”
Lawson are set to hit the US
Joel also said, “But Americans are so nice and smiley you could misinterpret it for flirting – that and wishful thinking! But she is really beautiful, girlfriend material. She has had quite a few celebrity boyfriends, so perhaps girls don’t believe her songs anymore.”
Lawson are set to head off to the US, where they will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow British boyband One Direction, who become global superstars, after making it big in America last year. It is expected that Lawson’s first release in the US will be Standing in the Dark, although that has yet to be confirmed.
