While One Direction are considered the biggest boyband on the planet, they still rely on other stars to help write songs for them. One such star is Lawson singer Andy Brown, who has admitted that he has written songs for both One Direction and Union J, although he admits that Union J have yet to take one of the songs.
Brown told MTV, "I wrote a couple of songs for the guys [Union J] but I've been writing for a few different artists. I started as a songwriter so it's cool to not only have Lawson songs but to write songs for other artists. I'm not working with them but I'm writing songs. They haven't taken anything yet so we're just pitching for a few different artists."
Andy then went on to talk about which female artists he would love to write a song for or even collaborate with, adding, "Someone like Jessie J or Taylor Swift, that'd be great." Lawson have recently collaborated with B.O.B. for the track Brokenhearted.
Union J are just beginning their adventure in the music world, while One Direction are global superstars enjoying success that they could never have even dreamed of.
