Glee star Lea Michele may have been in plenty of episodes, singing her heart out but she has finally decided to try her hand at the music scene for real. Lea is preparing to release her debut album and has revealed how the record is full of original songs, rather than covers.

Michele told Jay Leno, “It's funny because I get asked a lot if I'm doing covers. If you think that there are actually covers that we haven't done on Glee that I could then put on an album... We've done everything! Pretty soon we're just going to have to start doing opera and stuff on the show. No, it's all original pop music [on my album] and I'm really, really excited about it.”
Lea also talked about her enjoyment of being in the studio and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Beatles legend Ringo Starr. However, it has not all been glitz and glamour, as an incident with a spray tan and an over excited dog proved.

Michele added, “I put my feet up to take a nice little lunch break and one of the managers had their dog, and the dog jumped up on my lap. He went over to pick up the dog and the dog peed all over me. Which wouldn't have been so bad - I wiped it off - but because I didn't wipe off the spray tan yet it left pee streaks all over my legs!”
Lea Michele was announced as the new face for L’Oreal Paris back in September.
