It has been reported that Lee Pace has signed on to star in the lead role for the new AMC drama Halt and Catch Fire. The former Pushing Daisies star lead the cast, when the drama begins production later this year, with Halt and Catch Fire expected to premiere towards the end of the year.

Lee Pace has been taking a bit of a break from starring in on the small screen, as he looked to make the break through on the big screen. Lee has appeared in such movies as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the Oscar nominated Lincoln.
However, he has now decided to return to the small screen, with the AMC drama Halt and Catch Fire. The drama will take place in the 80s and will centre around the intense, cut-throat world of Computer engineering. Lee Pace will be playing a brilliant IBM salesman.

Meanwhile, we can catch Lee Pace reprising his role as Thranduil in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which is set to hit the big screen on December 13 in both the US and the UK.
